Not a patch on the beautiful twilight scenes I've been enjoying, but slipping it in because it is vaguely "twilighty", and as I do abstract I can't usually take part in the challenges.   Twilight Moon, done for a project.
You should join in, Sandra. It's always good to view other peoples perspective or variation on a challenge. Your abstract work is your way of presentation and concepts. For me this has the many colours within the sky as the light alters and the moon as it passes through these different changes.
I posted this in the gallery - before I'd looked at this month's challenge.  It was almost dark when I took the source photo at Ramsey on the Isle of Man about a fortnight ago - so I've called it Lighting Up Time at Ramsey.  Soft pastel on deep grey (almost black) Sennelier pastel paper.
Bobbie - I really like your pastel.Very inviting.
I found an old one of mine that fits the bill although I will try and do something new before the month is out.
Gorgeous light Denise.
Two very nice paintings from Bobbie and Denise.
I sketched this scene on location in an oil pad a few months ago. Today, I thought I would have a bit of fun creating a dusky/ late evening scene.
Your aim achieved Denise. Would be nice to see a courting couple on the canal path. Could bring that romantic edge to the days -end view.
Here’s an old one from me, a view of a local lake, done in acrylic ink and Quink:

I do like the shapes in this Andrew. It makes the viewer work out what they are seeing, could read this a couple of different ways!
