Two Rivers Paper Mill were asked by a company to produce a paper that was similar to the colour of blue denim…
Could have been a bookbinding company, I don’t recall!
I believe that they actually used the dye extracted from blue denim to colour the paper.
They had several small batches left over from the run and it was offered to Joe Public!
Fiona and I both bought a pack of full imperial size sheets!
NB: probably not a bookbinding company because it’s quite thick paper… 200lb perhaps? They do make the endpapers for bookbinding companies which produce quality manuscript books etc.
