The sun is still shining but the days are getting shorter - for this month's challenge be inspired by the lovely word 'gloaming' to paint a dusk or twilight scene.
Roaming in the gloaming - I might even have a go at this one, I've tried so few: and I have canvases arriving shortly.   Every now and then I think I really ought to give it all up now, and sink into blissful retirement: but there it is - I can't, and it wouldn't be blissful if I just did nothing: so - I shall roam and gloam...
Sorry, duplicated.

Not a new one, but think it fits the challenge.  Will also try to do something new for it.

That’s really lovely Jenny, not one I recognise…
Not a new one, but only a few months old… just about fits the challenge I hope! Oil on board 25x40cm, Patchings submission that didn’t make the cut!

And another oldie but I will try and do another.
Splendid work, Jenny, Alan and Marjorie.  I've been roaming into the medium of oil pastels and painted this cloudscape from a picture I took on a deepening dark evening looking around the sheep.
Very nice Carol, great sky.
This an oldie but fits the challenge however I will endeavour to do something new!
You lot don't hang about, do you?  Better the badger up above in the sylvan setting than upside down in my waste-bin, and all of these paintings are gorgeous, Mr Bickley knocking our eye out again, and I really like Marjorie's, and Carole's, and Gillian's - this was clearly an inspired choice of theme.
