Marvellous work, everyone. Just before we venture into the November Challenge thought I'd get this in quick for Halloween A chibi trick or treat.  The foot in the corner is from another little character.

The pumpkin head character looks great.
Thanks, PP. I'm sure we've all had that feeling when we lose that , something, and can't find the motivation to paint, so I went in search of something totally different, at the moment I'm hooked on them. 1 their easy to draw 2 you can make up any character you want 3 can use any colour combination. has kept me going
CJ your Chibi style is spot on for Halloween! I also haven’t got that certain something needed to start painting at the moment, but keep thinking ‘maybe today, this week’.... hopefully soon. still, looking at the Forum and Gallery here keeps me in touch and does inspire me, just currently not to pick up a brush!
Some really nice sketches and paintings . I’ve finished the card for the RAF Benevolent Fund and sent it off to be printed . I sent two versions one I will show here and put both in the gallery. Be interesting to see what the preference is, the difference is a light dusting of snow on the aircraft,

Thankyou, Tessa, the inspiration comes and goes, when it comes its a down hill ski ride, exciting, and then eventually it all comes to a stop. I hope you find your skis soon. Two great images, Dixie, my preference is for the, snow dusted, one, it just gives that more realistic edge to it.
Bit behind on this, and like you Tessa I’ve lost the urge to paint. Been in the workshop and accidentally spurted masses of cadmium red acrylic out and couldn’t put it back so have smothered a couple of failures with a mix so that might kick start something!? Paul, I think I prefer the snow dusted one although I can’t quite pinpoint why. C J, I don’t know what Chibi is but the characters look fun.
And it worked! Not really harvest theme but I thought it looked a bit spooky for Halloween.
Katy, I love you painting, it’s worked out really well.

I painted this conker last year from instructions in the Leisure Painters magazine
