Paul, the colours are so delicate in your painting it looks wonderful. I always seem to be heavy handed with colour but I guess applying it so delicately comes with much experience. Linda, I will be painting all afternoon and tomorrow, but I will be trying to take breaks here and there. I love your current painting you are working on at the moment. I came across an Angel Oak on a photograph and I thought it might be interesting to paint. I hope everyone has a great weekend painting or sketching.
I grew it and drew it. I ate it and painted it.

Didn't you paint it before you ate it, Ruth? I've often done this - or somebody, who shall be nameless, has ruined my Still Life by pinching some of it and eating it! Nice painting by the way.
Here’s my contribution, an abstract of farmer’s fields of Hay Stacks. I know they’re rolled into black plastic now, but I used artistic license 😁 sorry Ellen cant quite get my head round this one  purely as a country boy you understand

Ruth, you are not only an excellent artist, you have a hidden talent as a poet. I like the abstract of the hey stacks also.
Just finished this. Seems like it fits the requirements. Fist time posting in this forum. An impressionist approach, with dark undercoat, and no blending or refining. 14x11". Digital oils.
Splendidly bulbous!  Good to see you posting on this forum, too.
My effort for the October Challenge, better late than never.
Beautiful paintings everyone. Do you all remember my horrendous grapes at the start of the challenge that looked like brussel sprouts, well this evening I revisited the grapes. I am satisfied they don't look like sprouts this time but I did paint them with practically no light. My lamp is rubbish but I do intend buying a decent one for painting in the evening. I now feel this is a subject I can continue to improve on now I have revisited it.
It’s superb Denise , just need tour signature.
