Hi Lyn welcome .another Vincent fan.   No he didn't paint tulips but I think you could be close.   Nice painting.
Having looked at Richard Thorn’s work again in this week’s Artistic Inspiration thread reminded me that some while ago I did try to do a painting in his style. (Plenty of masking fluid and splattering, but that’s probably where the similarity ends!)

What Terrific responses! So many amazing images! I finally felt good enough to try my turn. (new meds, etc.) Here is my ode to Monet. A bit of a cheat, since I am inclined to be impressionist.
This is in the style of Titian: Peter

Not in the style of my favourite but in a style I've never tried and admired. The style of the impressionist. Not sure what to think of it, thought I would have a quick go using my own photo.
I couldn’t pick a particular artist because I like so many. This is one I did in the style of Wolf Kahn - I love his wild colours.
Many, many years ago, I visited an exhibition of pen drawings by Aubrey Beardsley. When I came home, I wanted to try and draw feminine figures as elegant as he did. This is the result. He is not my favourite artist but one of those I admired long ago and still do. Since he is mentioned on the Forum here, I wanted to look for my drawing from years ago and share it with you.
