I see different symbols because I'm a moderator, but so far as I remember, there is a delete button = you should be able to delete your own post.  But if you want to, I can delete it for you?

Lynn - I've removed it: it'll say the post was removed because it violated the forum rules and guidelines, but ignore that, because of course it didn't.  I wish I could remember the symbols that existed before I became a moderator, but then, the only reason I can remember what I had for breakfast is that I always have porridge....  The ones available to me are a dustbin symbol at left bottom: I think something similar should be available to you, but only someone with a) a memory, b) who is not a moderator, could answer that for sure.  Dawn - She Who Knows All - will explain if you contact her.

Don’t think you can delete a forum post - haven’t found a way either on my iPad or PC.  Can only change or delete text within a post.  (Christine and Sylvia - just noticed your comments on my hare - thank you!)

A lovely big colourful hare. In the bottom right of your post there's an edit button, click on that, place your cursor in front of the words or picture/s you want to delete by using the backspacer or hold down the touch pad on your pc and run the cursor over everything you want to delete, it will turn blue, and press the delete button on your gadget. Press the 'save changes' button just below the paperclip symbol. Job done.

Carol, I’ve tried that, it takes out all the text, but comes up with an error message when you try to save it.  It forces you to leave at least one character before it will save changes.  You can’t remove the post entirely.  I’ve tried it on both iPad and PC.

Forgot that little detail, sorry Jenny. If you want to remove everything pop in a full stop that will be acceptable as a post. Whatever you want to leave in will then be re-posted.
