I’m working on a landscape of the gardens at Eyford House in the Cotswolds. This was started at art group on Thursday. I bought a lovely book of Cotswold Gardens and the idea is from that, but not intended to be an exact version.
Great sketches, the garden landscape looks interesting Tessa.

Thanks Gillian, am off to art group this morning to carry on with this. Is that your cute little pooch?
Two quick sketches today , first pen and pastel was inspired by the recent snow , the second was seeing a photo of Charlie Chaplain.

Don’t you miss them when they go. Good to remember them in paint or drawing though. x
Sketches at Slimbridge 1995 Sketch fountain pen.
Good sketches George. Slimbridge is somewhere I would like to visit, now you’ve reminded me!
.. Some lovely lively sketches from everyone. I'm not sure if I've posted correctly so feel free to tell me if this post doesn't come out right I've been experimenting with super granulation watercolours and although this sky and seascape needs lots more work if I do it as a proper painting I'm rather liking the effects so far.
It’s great  looking , the effects are excellent .
When I turned 60 I said I would sketch 60 British iconic places, which I'd visited. This is Stonehenge. Bit of experimentation again as it was done with Artgraf  graphite bar, acrylic ink and oil pastel.
