Yes I like the 'loovre'. What a brilliant use of an obsolete building. The way the high streets are dying off, there ought to be lots of scope there for similar things. But someone will always want paying.
A last couple of pics of an artist's studio. I wasn't going to post anymore, but it must be wonderful to have the space to work on several pics as this fellow is doing. He's James Jean, an artist and illustrator.

I would really love to have space around me so that I wouldn't get wound up about the mess. I hate leaving mess too long, I can't just shut the door on it and I can't get down to painting if too much is around me , it's like clearing a space in my mind as well as the space around. The ideal would be well planned storage , materials easily accessed and enough space to have a few things on the go at once. But it's not good if we get everything we want...😏

This is a very interesting topic, Lew, and it is great to get a peek into other people’s studios or workspaces. I have to say that I spent many hours at the kitchen table when I started, then progressed to a corner of the spare bedroom (by the window). A couple of years ago we had a garden studio put in which was originally going to be my office, since I worked from home. Fortunately I retired short before it was installed, so now I get to use it as my studio and art glory hole though I have to share it with my wife (she does photography). What I think this thread shows is that you don’t need a swanky studio to make great art, as evident in the PoL gallery. Here’s my cosy corner...
