What a great workplace, Steve. And a definite asset as part of your home, it looks real class. I keep eyeing my ancient shed. It needs major repairs and insulation to make it a viable work place year round...in fact it needs pulling down and starting afresh. My art seems to have evolved into water based stuff, watercolor, soluble color pencils etc, and about the largest picture size would be A2. So my desk inside my conservatory fills all my needs. But...but... if I had chosen to work in oils on a larger scale, I guess I would have sorted my old shed by now.
So I'm envious of your shed, and would like one even if I just sat in it doodling in a small sketchbook with a pencil.

That’s a great place to paint, Steve. Being able to keep warm in winter but cool in summer is difficult to get right, and I would say the pergola comes in very handy.
Unfortunately I am going to loose my studio space fairly soon as we are moving back to Australia in the next couple of months and will need to find a place that is suitably blessed with a similar space. Looking at many of these gives me lots of ideas for my next one.

Thanks for the comments. For your info the roof of the pergola in front I built with a fixed slats then above are sliding sections of the similar slats which I can slide back and forwards to give either full shade or open to let the light in. I really enjoyed the whole studio project which was done in 2018. At night it can all be lit with outside lights. It's only 7 x 10 but at least this means it can be heated up quickly.
