Lovely egret Jenny , would certainly make a good postcard.
A beauty Jenny, as ever with that great style of yours.  Bravo for doing a postcard, what with everything else that's going on.  I've got stuck in a rut the past few days...I've been posting old pictures for the NHS challenge.  I've got bags of things to do, but just can't stir myself...maybe I can stretch to a postcard tomorrow.
Thank you Paul, Tessa and Lewis!  I‘ve also been posting old work for the NHS challenge, but am enjoying doing a few small paintings for the postcard challenge, although not many people seem to be taking part in this which is a shame.  My painting and dog walking are the two things keeping me going at the moment, but it is difficult to focus sometimes with everything that’s happening around us, plus the fact that my husband has health issues for which ongoing investigations have suddenly ground to a halt - I’m sure there must be lots of others in the same situation, but that isn’t much consolation.

Sorry to hear that Jenny. It’s such a worrying time, and much treatment and testing for anything else seems to have ground to a halt. We can only hope that it doesn’t last too long. Keep up the dog walking and painting. Your work is excellent and cheering. x
Wonderful up-lifting postcards being posted. I particularly like your badger post and the wrens, Jenny. Sorry to hear you have additional worries, with your husbands health, worrying indeed.
Here's an interesting picture I came across.  A version of Edward Hopper's famous 'Night Hawks' painting, altered to fit our current situation.
Goodness that’s sad and bleak!
Very thought provoking, painted in 1942 which was a bad time for the world as well. Thanks for reminding us we have got through bad times before and will do again. Keep safe.
Here's another, less bleak, version of this famous painting.  It's by an artist who takes cartoon characters and mixes them up with famous paintings.  In this case it's Tintin. Whilst accepting my current laziness about making pictures, I've been going through old stuff looking to support the NHS theme.  I came across this (doesn't fit the NHS theme)....an idea I had a while back to make abstract versions (using digital) in 6 x 4 inch format...then I was going to put a bunch together to make a larger picture.  (I have these nutty ideas)  I used my own pictures as the base, and fiddled with them.  Maybe of interest only to myself, and then I didn't get far with it.  Ho hum.
I really like this colourful piece, Lewis!  Would suit the postcard challenge. Tessa and CJ, your earlier comments were appreciated, sorry it took a while to thank you.
Such beautiful works.  Love these Spring Hellebores.  Very pretty Jenny and Lynne such an exciting and colorful card.   Jenny, I love your birds, the colors are super, really attracts my eye. A quick doodle from me.
Probably my last one for the postcard challenge.  I’ve been fascinated by pond life, especially frogs, since childhood.  This had been intended as a linocut but decided to paint it instead. Inspired by Nature - Frog with Dragonfly
