Another good portrait from Gudrun, good detail on Christopher's bear, Anjana, I think you have a leaning towards sketching birds, can't see anything wrong with yours, Lew!, a ready  made subject for you Tess, you got the pose, stylish flowers from Richard, Linda, your dog sketch is spot on, Margaret, you've got a great supply for sketches, Paul, that old car is crying out for sympathy. What we could do with here, is to be able to add a comment directly under the post. It's quite difficult grouping all the comments together. No sketch done today by me yet.
Great watercolours Paul, fabulous portrait Gudrun, great sketches Alan, Christopher, Linda, Margaret & Lewis, I had just given away all my daughters’ Sylvanian animals wish I hung back to some now! That tea looks delicious Alan, intrigued now about the painting from your sketch Linda. Love your landscape in oilbar Fiona, liking the sketches with your new pen Tessa – there is an organic element to the lines, which adds to the charm, bright and bold abstract flowers Richard, fantastic creations with pen and wash Marjorie. I will post the finished landscape once done Margaret as long as it’s not too disastrous! Thank you for your kind comments :-)
Hi everyone. Loads more good sketching painting and drawing going on. Here is my contribution today.
I’m going to give out group praise and hugs to you all! There are some terrific sketches and subjects, as we are proving there is a never ending supply to keep us going.....so no excuses. Today’s effort is a watercolour sketch of the river Cree where it runs into the estuary. With the high tide and the spill off from the hills after all the rain, the fields along the Cree are under water. Did a mental snap as I drove by, although couldn’t see that much it’s another wet day here.
Lovely detail on your vintage bus Alan and I love your watery sketch, Fiona!   Bet your hoping the rain ceases soon!
The problem with this challenge is that ideas keep popping up. I’ve just got to put them on paper or it bugs me. Quick sketch adapter from a photo in a scrapyard. That’s two today still working away but not posting them.
Three great additions. I'm going to have to cheat 😔 . This is one I did on Monday. I might have time to do a quick one...

Well, this is the first time I had to force it and it's twee but I'm pleased I stuck to the script. Corner of the room.
Great Curlew sketch Margaret and Richard I have a good way of working out proportion size for birds and animals now, I look at my ref photo and draw circles, ovals, rectangles that I observe in the photo then fill in the gaps with more definite lines. Also I think these daily sketches really help to gain confidence.

That's a great tip Linda, I clicked on the thumbs up, not quite sure what giving reputation to a post does :-)   -
Thank you Marjorie I do like painting/drawing birds. We have certainly got very busy, that beautifully drawn bus is full of character Alan, splendid watercolour from memory Fiona, poor recovery van Paul – another great sketch, like your sense of humour, love your style in Monday’s sketch Marjorie very Quentin Blake esque, and great details in corner of the room - beautiful corner too! My day 16 gosling again, I had trouble settling on a subject today
Just got in in time  a Jellycat Bunny
Great variety in these sketches...I love that.  Anjana's gosling and Christopher's bunny hit the spot, but there's so much of interest it's hard to comment on all of them. I did this sketch in the wee small hours this morning.  For a change I thought I'd draw a 'thing'...this is an African figurine we have.  Sketched with an inktense pencil, and a wet brush of course.  About 10 mins, trying to be quick and unfussy.
