APOLOGIES...APOLOGIES...APOLOGIES...FOR MY RANT ABOVE.  I'd had a bad night last night for reasons I won't go into here.  I was up at 3am feeling ratty.  For something to do I read the Forum.  The thing that got up my nose was Peter suggesting digital art be put in a separate folder.  He's not the first to suggest this by the way.  I stand by all the points I made but should have expressed them in a more reasoned manner.  Peter has his opinion, I have mine. Helen... it's the SEPARATE folder bit I was objecting to.  I don't know why...POL is never going to do that.  They list digital among their mediums when submitting art.  If Digital is the only genre put it a separate folder, for me that would be downgrading it.  A naff idea.  But you may have a different opinion. Dixie has me down for an artist of his artist thread at the end of the month.  I will do that.  Unfair to dump that in his lap, he already does enough on the site. So apologies to Peter, he should remain on the forum and take no notice of me.  (Incidently, Peter told me he posted one of my pics on his model railway forum.  It was one I couldn't have made without using a digital app.  So I sneaked that one past his defences.) I'm sad to hear Carol is leaving.  Her contributions will be missed. I'm going to step back for a week or so to regain my composure.  At my age everything takes longer. I apologize once again for making a fuss about nothing, I'm a grumpy old wossname. See you later.

Hello hope you are all well. Seems I have been accused of call girl sites , copywriter infringement and a myriad of other crap. Lollard rule  it seems. No worries I understand.. Stick to your guns. Never let it be said you let the side down . I actually find it amusing. I took up a hobby for fun and some of you turned it into a court case. That got a mention. Copywriter. Grow up for Gods sake. Keep up the good work :) Good to be back. I am not upset just a study of the deeper working of the human condition. The gang mentality is of interest ;P  Pitchforks at the ready = lol

I don't think you've been accused of anything.  A post about the dangers of AI to professional artists, particularly emerging ones, caught you in its wake, that's all.  The issue is about taking people's images from the internet, and then using them as your - or one's - own.  This is damaging to people w hose work is stolen: obviously it matters more if such work is then sold, but it also matters if it's shown for something it isn't.  What anyone does for their own pleasure is one thing: the problem arises only when you - one - shows it as all one's own work, when it isn't.
