Thanks Gillian and Sylvia. I know but it’s more interest when it’s a challenge Gillian , please your enjoying the gel pens Sylvia  put some on the site for us to see. I working on a few ideas for black Christmas cards ,sounds odd say black Christmas cards but you know what I mean .

That’s a love sketch Denise and really well drawn. I spent a very happy hour with my ten year old granddaughter, she love the gel pen sketches  and wanted done Christmas ideas. Some developed from ideas on the internet, but none were gel pen specific so we adapted ones she  we wanted .

Nice sketch Gillian . I keep forgetting to give you the information re the black card , paper in using sorry for the for the delay Gillian. The A5 pad is Fabre Castellated and is a mixed media pad . The A4 is Monte Marte , I bought both really cheat fro a TK Max offshoot. I also bought in a cheap shop a pack of 30 sheets of A4 size black card, this was mad for children's project , it not as good as the others , but  at £1:50 I didn’t except it to be . Great for practice and messing about , the Christmas ones above  I did with my granddaughter are on the cheap stuff, sometimes shows a blue tinge when photographed.

Sorry Bari I missed commenting on your last super sketch, it drawn really well. Practice figure sketching last evening , I enjoy drawing figure but sadly never do enough to get good at it , maybe something to think about in the new year.
