Not sure whether he is cute or slightly menacing Gillian. It’s the feet!

Yes the carvings decorate the choir seats and are all pretty grotesque in some way or another!
Österlen, southern Sweden. A place I have spent many summers in.
The top one is splendid Ricardo..the second one " interesting".
Thank you Sylvia. It's fun to experiment at least :)
On the subject of playing... here's a bit of whimsy - channelling my inner Hockney after spotting a heavily pollarded tree in my local park which reminded me of one of DH's 'bigger picture' paintings. This is done using various brush pens rather than oils.😁
Well didn't you have fun...
A great and fun drawing Andrew. I always liked the fauves. Happy paintings :) Heres a sketch after a portrait done by Dürer. From my favourite drawing book, "Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters", by R.Hale.
This is an acrylic sketch, I used my own photo for reference and had a bit of a mess about with colour.
Wow Denise. That looks to me like a proper painting :) Great atmosphere.
Last night’s efforts at art group… Soft pastels on velour paper, neither of which I have used before.
