Lovely sketch Marjorie.  I did this very brief still life sketch yesterday in charcoal, started to add pens, decided not to peruse, and changed to the simplified painted version I’ve put on the gallery!
Well done what a great start! Just home after our sketch session at our csthedral here in Orkney . One is the Yoyal Oak Memorial Bell  with  It’s the ensign and Union flag from the wReck which are changed every year in a ceremony by divers. The second sketch is of a carving on the choir seats Sr
I managed to sketch the berries growing on a young tree in my front garden.
Nice…..
Lovely Denise
Morning all.  A fast and loose sketch from me- welsh mining village from an old book (photo by J. Thomas). Ink and a touch of chalk on Strathmore Gray paper.
Superb sketches posted already just a simple one from me and a more complex one
I did a profile sketch of my son and when I got up to get some tea he drew a “mommy”. It’s clear he has  seen my figure drawing attempts :)
Reminding us all of the film, "I Married a Martian".   No, but, seriously - it's good he's having a go at following his dad's artistic bent.
I have a delightful neighbour who goes above and beyond keeping an eye on me...she has just put op a poly tunnel for my two adopted chucks.  So I am aiming to paint a pic of herr two sweet dogs( NOISEY)  for Christmas , so this is a work out from a couple of pics I pinched from her Facebook page, Tomorrow I will get out the brushes. This quick ie is in ktense pencil. Buddy and Evie.
That's a beautiful drawing Sylvia; I love your intense drawings!
They’re great Sylvia, she’ll love them.
