Certainly is the case, starting from the March edition. Looking at the masthead, the emphasis is on Leisure Painter!

I'm guessing Leisure Painter is the bigger seller of the two. I moved my paper sub to TA only a few months ago after about 2-3 years of LP. The step by steps in LP were very helpful. And still useful now as I can read the digital versions.

Presumably it is Norrette. I wonder what the new format will look like inside! A 50/50 split in two clear sections, or a mix of both interspersed throughout the magazine. We’ll find out in the next edition…

I I actually rang the subscriptions department on the day I got the email because I pay for a subscription for the artist and one for leisure painter and I was told that to automatically changed to one subscription for the combined Magazine from March 2025.. I hope that is a 50-50 split as I enjoy each magazine for different reasons. Hopefully it will continue to be a great magazine

I wish the combined title luck, but - well, of necessity reserving judgement.  I don't really want a Leisure Painter with bits added, so am hoping that the best elements of The Artist magazine will be preserved - even enhanced - in the combined publication.  We can but wait and see.

Step by step are the words I least wanted to see on the cover. I fear the biggest sales market is in the just started, learn to paint bracket and that will understandably be the target audience. I hope I'm wrong but that's my two penneth.

I've enjoyed purchasing two great magazines, the bumper issue, for a while. They both have something to offer. I hope the combined magazines have something for all. I must say, on times, after many years of painting, the features within both magazines are of interest. That said, painters of experience or newcomers, I'm sure, there will always been subjects to appeal.

What a terrible shame that these magazines are being combined . 21% fewer pages and 50% of those won’t be so relevant to me. I wonder whether I’ll be renewing my subscription?

Is this a  Fact or are you speculating David , seems odd that a first time poster come on the forum bemoaning it would be nice to know your source of information.
