Very quick look tonight - really like these planes, Dixie - they look great! Lovely outdoor sketches (if it was here I would call them "urban sketches" - ??"village sketches") Tessa - we aren't allowed to do that yet as we got the worst of the virus a bit later up here so the loosening of restrictions is a bit later too. Love that cottage Linda - beautiful colours. Haven't done my daily sketch yet so better go and do something now! (did start one but didn't get it finished)

Well here we are at the end o another month, time seems to have gone quickly. I had one of those days yesterday and ended up not doing anything to do with art. Will do something today as it the last one this month, whilst it has been hard to find thing to sketch it been really good practice and fun. Don’t know if it will continue after today , thank you to all those taking part and supporting. A lot has change since the original thread back in January and it great that people have dipped in and out.

Tessa that's a great composition you have there, it's going to look great as a painting, will it be oils? and Margaret, a really good skyline. I agree Dixie, I haven't made much of a contribution of late but I have enjoyed the sketches/paintings that everyone has produced and the general chit chat. Enjoy your weekend everyone and stay safe.

I think it does not matter if you have contributed one or every day it was set up to add as you wanted, hopefully people who have not contributed have enjoyed the posts as well. I felt guilty at not adding a sketch yesterday so I am adding two today. The old truck I did a week or so ago and decided not to post it. What is interesting is that the cab is made from an old wardrobe. The other is a derelict winch on Dungeness, the casing is smashed showing the inner workings, used waster soluble pencil.

Linda, thank you! If I get around to painting it yes it would be oils, but I’d like to do it plein air if poss when I’m allowed! And maybe when it’s a bit cooler. I’m finding painting is not happening at the moment, like many others I think. I did read an article in The Artist this month (Sarah M?) re painting outdoors and limiting herself to one hour, which did set me thinking. Hopefully June will get me back into it.
The winch is interesting Dixie, sorry must have missed it as we were typing at the same time, so have edited. I can see the wardrobe doors in your cab! Amazing.

Looking in reverse order thought I will dip in the last day of this month, Hawker Hurricanes, not one but a family of them, a challenging subject Dixie, very well executed look forward to seeing it finished. Linda beautiful pen and watercolour wash of Crofters cottage. Caught a lovely moment of cyclist contemplating Tessa and a fabulous church scenes, you live in a lovely area. Love the line drawing Margaret, fascinating how you convey so much in a scribble(I mean it in a nice way)
