Thank you Gillian. I can’t imagine living in a cave house! Are you isolated or do you have neighbours nearby?
I think I know that mill Tessa. No sketch from me today have felt very restless and to to good today, starting to fell brighter now  so should be up and running again tomorrow.
Just keep at it - I have a bit of tremor too, which comes on at the least appropriate moments (like having a brush dripping with paint to add a detail, and turning it into a lovely splodge-Fest).  I know she wouldn't mind if I told you her name, but on the offchance that she would - I won't!  But there's an artist here who has come on by entirely huge leaps since she sought a little guidance on drawing, which I and some others provided: she now produces marvellous drawings, full of movement, and paintings so absurdly good that she makes me jealous.  It was practice, and a bit of advice perhaps (I'd like to bask in a bit of reflected glory) that transformed her initially rather stiff drawings into the work we can see today - just keep going; try different drawing media, Mars Lumograph pencils, Derwent sketching pencils, conté crayon, charcoal, carbon pencils, pen and ink (in a structured way: not suggesting you try the lot at once) - get hold of lots of paper, and scribble all over it; doodle when you're on the 'phone; sketch everyday objects in the house and garden; buy a few dvds or books on drawing, plus there's plenty of online guidance.  Nothing is guaranteed in life, but at least you'll enjoy yourself - we all drew when we were kids, didn't we? - and you never know: you might turn into a far better artist than you could ever have suspected you'd be.   PS - that was for our new member!  And don't hesitate to employ tools like rulers, dividers, and anything else that seems useful.

Man I wish I had more time to do this and the encouragement you people offer is great. I'm no spring chicken but even I need and appreciate encouragement and advise that will get me picking up a pencil and (God help me) a paint brush. So thank you all.

Cave houses are very eco friendly Tessa. Have all mod cons. I live on the edge of a village In Granada province overlooking a river and views of mountains
Sounds wonderful Gillian! I can imagine great views for painting and drawing. Gary, get those pencils and brushes out pal!
Get drawing Gary!
Hi everyone this is the self portraiture session with today’s mall galleries draw ourselves live.. I did this in graphite sketch..
Be quit nice to spend one time in a cave house, like your old sheep dip pic Tessa, a great selfie Nandhini. I think the heat did for me yesterday, I did very little, to day I decided that I would look at some o my old sketches with a view to doing a watercolour version. The sketch I’d did sometime go and posted it in my gallery, the colour version is a wip, and experimenting.
Trucks coming on well Dixie. Nandhini I like your self portrait even if lying down! This is pet rabbit of our neighbour.
That’s a very nice rabbit Tessa. I’m pleased with the truck sketch, here s the finished item.
I like the way you’ve left some to the imagination Dixie, really works well.
Thanks Tessa.  Taking part in these daily sketches  has you thinking about what to do, so you look around more and try to do different things. This has had a positive result on me in that I try things I would not think about sketching in pencil of paint , the attached is from a friends photo he and his wife took in India,  then came home to lockdown and self isolating. I don’t normally do people but wanted to try this.A5 watercolour about 15min or so, as I then don’t have time to fiddle.
