They are Sylvia, and I find most people very unobservant, never know they’re being sketched if you’re careful!
Last time I sat sketching people a lady asked if the could see my sketch, then promptly told me if that was her then I had made her arse look big. When she move away her husband looked and said wish her arse was that small. I do love people watching and occasionally you catch the odd comments that leave you wondering what the conversation was about .
I took a chance with this one on a bridge full of artists.  2min pen & ink.
Oh Paul wonderful.   I was once told “ my auntie draws, but she is good” .  I did a smart step backwards and trod on his toes...
there have been some good sketching going on, I also like people watching, it is funny listening to peoples comments. Mine today is a London Underground steam train.
No social distancing here.  Lovely train.

Great sketches from everyone, lovely train Alan. I'm a bit of a people watcher Sylvia. I joined the Grahame Booth Webinar this morning. It's the first time I've tried anything like that and it was very enjoyable despite the bad shoulder. Here is the sketch from the session.
I've done this sketch today and started it in pastels. I might change it as I go on and I think the bottle is wonky. I'm trying to get it to look like coloured glass but I don't think it's working. Any pointers would be appreciated.
I think it’s working the bottle looks coloured to me .
The bottle looks coloured Denise but, yes, it's wonky. Turn the drawing upside down and you will see this more clearly. This works for elipses too. Also, you can draw a faint line down the middle of any object and then you can make sure both sides are equal .
Thanks Marjorie, I know I've been painting for a year now but I never knew to do that. I've just looked at it upside down and I can clearly see the wonkiness of it all. I'll be turning everything upside down from now on.
