Versatile Margaret, always good. Nice work.. That is really lovely Dixie - I like it a lot - lovely soft colours. Sorry your hands are still not totally okay but you are still producing good stuff :) Hope your girl recovers soon Tessa - impressed you still managed a beautifully done sketch. Finally got a postable sketch done (did a ws pencil one but it was pretty rubbish) - a very quick fountain pen (and water) sketch from one of my own photos - up on Dunadd Hill, Argyll.![]()

Thanks Jim :) That is a lovely sketch, Jim - a beautiful image of one of my favourite heroines from a book - I had been trying to come up with a cover idea for Persuasion for the Painters Online March Challenge which is to do an illustration of a favourite book for folk to guess - I couldn't think of one and went for another author. If you are interested in that challenge it is at - https://www.painters-online.co.uk/forum/painters-online/march-forum-challenge-1/?forumAction=LastPost#post-460011

I've posted a lot of Regency era sketches, particularly from Jane Austen who is hands-down my favourite Author.
