Nice sketches everyone. I got my brief by email from my sketch club yesterday and it was to sketch a view from inside or outside (in the garden) of your house so I sketched my house using pen and markers.
Three good hands Dixie, and a very thoughtful NHS one from Alan, also a rather nice house from Christopher, and we are very nearly through our third month! Who would have thought it?  Are we going to continue through April folks? I think we probably should. Do we need to change it slightly to something specific (like Spring maybe?) or shall we just bat on as we are? No one seems to lack inspiration and we are still finding subjects untried before. I feel not only has my sketching improved but this has become part of my daily routine, however brief it may be, but especially now, and therefore I’m happy to continue. Anyone else?
Even though I can not commit every day, due to work, and time spent in the garden, Dawns photo challenge, the monthly challenge, I would like to carry on. Even if I don’t submit everyday I like to see, everyone effort ( a wide variety for subjects), even when we all do the same picture in Dawns challenge, I love to see how everyone can do something different, in there own style. Another thing I love is the chat whether it’s in here or helping others in the forum, it’s a great place to help us all through these troubled times.
I don’t have a problem with continuing through April, as Tessa said it’s become part of routine and something that links with others. They chat is good as well, you feel like you get to know people better because of the comments etc. Don’t know about a theme it seems to work well as it is, and Dawns photos are offering the themed setting. What ever I will try to keep up. Set my self a dead line of time today and ran out as I tried to put to much detail in.
Good stuff chaps, and I agree the chat and banter is as useful and fun as the sketching! I’ll set up April tomorrow if no one beats me to it. Too early and it’ll disappear.
My morning walk took me past our local kids playground today and saw this rather sad sight, red and white tape over the exercise stations to stop people using them, normally they’re trying to encourage their use!
I will keep going it gives me something to aim for and I enjoy the company on here.
This one I've found in a website https://vincelow.com.my . He said that this is a scribbling technique of sketches which is a good artwork from him. Take a look at it

It is sad to see the playgrounds locked up and deserted, all the gates are locked on the tennis courts in the local park, oddly the toilets are still open to the public?. Nearly at the end of this month don’t know where it’s gone, still, better that time passes quickly at present. Luckily we have a large house to ourselves, so we can find a space to get on with things, I don’t think we have spent so much time in the house for years. Today a compilation of two photos. A4 pencil sketch.
Well done Dixie. I’ve opened the April thread for those who want it.
Just trying out some new Copic style markers I got from Wish.com, coloured a Manga style drawing I done previously.
Wow that’s very stylish Christopher! This is a sketch taken from an idea from news photos of New York in winter.
