I love this. I like this style very much
Thank you so much for your kind words. Beautiful watercolour of boat scene Dixie, very peaceful. Christopher a most inviting looking cafe with lovely details, hopefully can reopen in not too far distant future. Love the lighthouse sketch Tessa, reminds me of one we visited in Portland Bill last summer.
Thank you Karren and Anjana. I’m finding it more difficult to think of subject matter as not going out except for solitary walks!
I know how you feel Tessa. My cricket coaching has now been stopped, so I have a bit more time. Still working the day job as a postmen, I have started using the lessons in leisure painter for inspiration, also the forum challenges, And I have a few magazines like Gardner’s world, kitchen garden that is suppling me with various ideas.
Pity about the cricket coaching Alan and all the other sport cancelled around the world. At least you are able to get out on your round and you posties provide an important lifeline for people stuck at home.
Today is where I would like to be, but due to being in the vulnerable age group can’t do my volunteering. Scene from memory of truck removing timber.
That’s some tack Dixie, very powerful I imagine. I just watched a service online as I would normally be in church on a Sunday morning. Obviously you’re supposed to be concentrating on the service, but ....
I have enjoyed looking through your daily sketches. Some excellent ones at that. Here is my sketch taken from an exercise in leisure painter. I have used inktense blocks instead of watercoulor.
That’s really lovely Alan, very subtle.
hi friends. I am so enjoying all your works.  Tessa, I love your lighthouse.  That touch of color gives it so much life.  Christopher a lovely reminder of a cafe.  Dixie what lovely painting of the boat.  Is it a fisherman's boat?  Anjana, wow stunning splash of color on your beautiful flowers. Christopher loaf makes me feel peckish and I think the chap taking a break from his tractor is dreaming of a good old sarmie as well.
Like your Mass sketch Tessa, your flowers are excellent Alan, and a lovely landscape Sandi. The boat was a fishing trawler Sandi, not sure if it’s still around anymore. Just another tractor from me today, hope you are all keeping well and safe. A5 pencil sketch.
