Nice scene Alan. Looks a very large pond. I’ve spent the morning cutting front and back lawn, then put my tomatoes  out but under cover. Now started back on a tractor painting, made a basic error with the steering wheel, so put some white acrylic over it, that will teach me to concentrate more. This is an earlier view of the painting.
If anyone needs cheering up check out www.thebigdraw.org and look at The Green Man drawn by Gary Andrews, guaranteed to make you a smile!

Just been catching up on all that has been going on . I have enjoyed the chat. On the subject of Tessa’s Corona crate, and the comment about corona beer in America, my mind goes back to Channel 4 last leg programme, I can’t Romberg who said it but, they mentioned the American beer situation, and said he thought that British real ale drinkers would think this strange because they are still drinking beers with names like Knob rot. My Bug bear at the moment is people who still don’t get social distancing. During the day I see people out and about meeting people in there houses for coffee, keep getting to close everyone, and this is the bit that irks, stand and applaud the NHS on a Thursday.  Rant over . Bye for now.
Alan, when I saw the a Corona crate I was thinking of Corona pop, hadn’t thought of the beer! Not sure if it is or was the same company? As regards people still meeting up, you probably see more of this than most of us, as you’re out and about, and we thank you and your colleagues for the wonderful job you do. Most of us stuck at home are ordering more stuff on line so again thanks to anyone delivering it all. How are you managing at the sorting office? That must also be difficult.
Tessa Since lock down, and social distancing, our office has completely changed in how we are working. We have 3 different start times, all the internal mail sorting frames have been moved so they are 2 meters apart. We now have early morning sorters in, so we can separate parcel into delivery rounds, so everyone not crushed  together. I now come in 2 hrs later, to give the person next to me chance to lay there round in, and get out before I get in. Lots of overtime if you want it to deliver all the packets. So busy busy busy. The up side is. Most people are home, so easy to deliver parcels. Even if it is putting them on the floor so you have to pick them up. Signing for the packets ourselves have also speed th process up.
Interesting, and I wonder if some of these ideas and changes will become long term. Keep smiling and keep painting when you have the time. 🙂
We notice when we go for a walk that some people have no concept of distance. The positive is that most people do greet you as you pass, they seem happy to talk to someone. Just made two small soda bread 🥯 rolls for lunch, the things you do to pass the time, mind you I find baking dry relaxing and something I do normally.
Very interesting Alan on how you are managing at work. I must admit when my post arrives I take it into the kitchen by the corners and rip the envelopes off and place them straight into the paper bin, I then leave my post to read later on,  does anyone else do this or am I being really paranoid!!! your soda bread looks good Dixie, I seem to be baking more than usual, its like I want comfort food more!!!! There are a few people that seem to be missing just now, Fiona is one, has anyone heard from her? I do hope she is alright.
Fiona is fine, I spoke to her earlier this morning. She’s busy gardening and like many of us, lacking inspiration! Saying that, mine is slowly coming back again and I’m painting again. Yes, I do similar Linda, then scrub my hands, you can’t be too careful!
I don’t know about anyone else but my hands are sore from all the washing, I must be keeping the hand cream manufacturers in business on my own. Still it better to be safe than sorry as the old saying goes. My daughter said her youngest was complaining about her hands because that are “so sore because of that stupid virus mummy and needing to wash them so much”. Yesterday I wash my hand 4 times in ten minutes, emptying the bin, and three deliveries of post, parcel and books,
Ah i'm glad i'm not on my own then!! Thanks for the update on Fiona Alan. We have been in the garden such a lot making the most of the fine weather. have a nice weekend everyone.
