For those of you who have noticed Lew’s absence from POL , I have just received a message from him . Unfortunately he was unwell and the medication side effects made him feel quite depressed and unable to do anything. Good news is he is on the mend and hope to get the inspiration soon to get back to his artwork. I’m sure he won’t mind me telling you , drawing etc is the one thing he falls back on when he is feeling low but was unable to do anything this time . Just keep getting better Lew and hope we see your unique artwork soon, I’ve certainly missed it and you . MISS MY DAILY COOPER .THE MORING HUMOUR IS A GREAT START TO THE DAY.
That’s relatively good news then! I did mention his absence in a post yesterday regarding Ackerman pens, because I know that Lew bought one on my recommendation! Let’s see you up and about drawing again soon Lew!
Look forward to seeing you back again soon, Lewis - I mentioned to Paul yesterday that you hadn’t been around for a while - we do notice and miss your usual regular appearance on both the gallery and forum.
Thanks for this update - Lew:  get  better soon; you're very much missed on this site.  As we nudge past the 70 mark, we have drugs for this, drugs for that, and drugs to counter the side-effects of the drugs they get us to take.  They've just put me on statins, and I'm waking up in the morning  with a head full of fog - but it quickly wears off; and taking them is probably better than not waking up at all.   Not for me to tell you  how to suck eggs - but when did that ever stop me? - do talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist about these side-effects, don't just soldier through them as an inevitability.
How is it that something that supposed to do you good then makes you bad. Don’t answer that. Well thats medicine for you. Look forward to seeing Lewis’s characters once again
I did wonder why you haven't posted recently, Lewis, I always so look forward to seeing your work. Get well very soon!
Looking forward to Lew returning and reinstating our morning smile.
Get well soon, Lew.  And tell your GP about any side effects, you shouldn't have to put up with them. R - I've given up my statins for two weeks and feel about two years younger.  GP will no doubt tell me off.
I was also wondering about Lewis's absence. Great to hear you are on the mend Lewis, you certainly have been missed.
And “hope to see you back soon” from me too Lew.
I’ve also been wondering Lew, missing the daily Cooper.  I can’t remember why I did this - it’s a few years old, maybe on the daily sketch at that time, hopefully it might make you smile! X
Get well soon Lew , missing your great artwork and humour, The gallery needs you.
