I took my first look at POL for a few weeks and saw this. Many thanks to all the good people on POL for your kind words. Very much appreciated. I've got a form of cancer that's 'manageable', luckily the treatment is just tablets. I don't have to drag my old bones to the hospital to get zapped by machines. The consultant told me the pills have side effects, but said it's worth sticking with them, because they work and the 'side effects' disappear after 2-3 weeks. It my case it was a feeling of exhaustion that left me not wanting to do anything except lounge around looking decorative. It's been 3 weeks now, and I am starting to think about what I can do, not just in art. Looks like I may have a few years yet, it's a toss up on what gets me first...old father time or cancer...my money's on old father time. All of which will be fine if I can still do stuff. Thanks again for your kind words, they lift the spirits. As Arnie Swarts-his-name and the tax man said...I'll be back.
