I’ve only use two and found them to be excellent, both times I did quite wet in wet and the stood up to it fine including a bit of hard brush work as well. Certainly worth have some to hand .
I’ve just ordered the A3 pad from Amazon, it’ll be here tomorrow! I’m hoping that it resembles the Whatman board that I used to buy years ago, before they went out of business! It was excellent and was used by many professional watercolour artists! Robert will no doubt remember it…

I will be interested to see what you think of them Alan, I do hope they are comparable with you older boards .
So far so good Paul! The paint flows on nicely. Not as thick as the Whatman boards, but more than adequate! Obviously there is no cockling, which is the main factor for me!
That’s a relief as you know when you recommend something you cross your fingers it work as well you said . I would recommend it ,  especially to those who have difficulty with watercolours paper they are using and find it difficult stretching the paper. I would suggest it would be good for out and about, but having not tried it myself as yet I could not say how efficient it would be .
