Glad to see you all are going strong, and you have some new people as well. im still sketching and painting, but have had no spare time to contribute. Here is my latest offering entitled pick your own.
Good to see you back Alan, yummy PYO! This is our old garden bench under repair and heading for the allotment while new one on order for here.
Great start! That fruit looks good enough to eat Alan. Lovely sketch of the bench Tessa! Quick sketch of the Alhambra through wisteria from me.
Oh wow! Looks like everyone's been busy . All beautiful offerings for the start of June. I'll join in at some point 😊
Some good sketches in the past day or so. I tried to upload a sketch yesterday evening but couldn’t for some reason. A soluble pencil sketch of an old building on Bradenham Manor estate. It could have been a small forge but there is no longer any chimney. Sketch whilst sat in the shade of a nearby tree.
Nice one Gillian, I do like wisteria!, and a good character sketch from Dixie. Mine is a sketch of some riverside plants with big leaves this morning on my walk, not sure what they are called but look a bit like rhubarb! Pen sketch finished with drawing inks at home.
Like your old building Dixie certainly looks forge like. I’m not very good on wild plants and flowers Tessa! I have been on the lookout for wild caper flowers here but none so far they a beautiful delicate flower.

Tessa, I believe if they live near water/ wet boggy ground, and if they are prickly, then you could be talking about the gunnera plant. Sometimes refer to as prickly rhubarb, or dinosaur food.

Gosh you have all been busy, some lovely work, great strawberries Alan, nicely painted  lilac Gillian,  in need of repair bench, lovely old building Dixie, and beautifully painted leaves Tessa, I have painted a birthday card for my grandson Josh who will be 22 on the 14th, he's a Star Wars fan lol, so thought this was appropriate, its Mr Potato Head, Darth Vader, It is copied from a picture, which I don't like to do so I won't be putting it on the gallery but thought I would show it on here.
I love individual birthday cards Linda, this is great, I’m sure he’ll be thrilled! Mine was actually done a few days ago playing around with gouache.
Lovely sketches and card Linda n Tessa. Another old winch on Dungeness fro me,I just love the rust and that the decay. This one has one vandalism as the casings are’s smashed . Used water soluble pencil, and colour pencils.
Love the little Darth Vader, Paul a nice observed sketch, and Tessa a lovely little sketch. Well as it it is June, the longest day is now fast approaching. The page in me is getting ready. This is the time of the OAK KING. so here he is
