Some lovely sketches and drawings for January and so I thought it would be a great challenge too. Lovely trees and the Owl and nice drawings everyone! I started some line drawings in November then decided to draw some portraits and so here is my latest of Evie age three years nibbling a gingerbread biscuit! Shall try and start another one today as may try a still-life sketch....Happy New Year everyone and lovely to view your new drawings!

Great sketches Robert. I was doing a bit of reading about an artist called Sassoferrato, a 17th century Baroque painter. I liked his paintings and did a quick fine liner sketch. It's not accurate because I wasn't paying too much attention but I have not had the fine liners out for a while and wanted to practice some shading with lines and cross hatching.Nice fine line for this Baroque image Denise and cross-hatching as it always helps to align the drawing shape and form, lovely work!![]()
