Farmland near Atherfield, ink and a bit of colour left on the palette.  The word "Sailor" refers to the brand of pen, not a passing matelot.  Couldn't edit, so new post to explain it. One of my "dirty" pictures - all muck and mire.

What a great start everyone. Some smashing sketching going on here.
Not sure this one will show, file's a bit big.  Anyway, another sketch - not of today: the rain is impossible - but a short while ago.  Called, imaginatively, Footbridge.
Like it  Roberts , some lovely shapes in the branches etc.
Ta.  Have another one - overgrown, degraded, wet, 'orrible.
I like that Robert, it has a rhythmic feel to it.
Great sketches Robert. I was doing a bit of reading about an artist called Sassoferrato, a 17th century Baroque painter. I liked his paintings and did a quick fine liner sketch. It's not accurate because I wasn't paying too much attention but I have not had the fine liners out for a while and wanted to practice some shading with lines and cross hatching.
It’s a great sketch Denise and a very good example of working with fine liners.
Great to see your sketches Robert Paul and Denice ! Wonder how long we can manage to post one every day? Robert it is a peregrine falcon. Today an eagle owl ( allegedly on my part!)

Sylvia, why did you delete your lovely daffs for goodness sake! I was just going to say how good they were, and you’ve picked them! Here’s my offering, pen sketch from the car before doing a little oil which I’ve put on the gallery.
