Nice sketches Owen and from every day life too! It's great to sketch when out too, always nice when you return home and to keep references of what you have seen and where you have been! I remember sitting in a park and started drawing Captain Cook's cottage , people and passersby glanced and looked and asked me 'was it being sketched for a history group?' I nodded and told them 'not yet, but maybe for heritage places of interest'! Then I became curious about old buildings and yes going out and drawing is rather an adventure! Although, am starting back after a while as have been busy with family so started on Emus and yesterday attempted a still-life drawing of some fruit.

The C of E School I attended many moons ago, Pocklington, Yorkshire. While researching childhood days I found a photo of this old building think built late 1800's. There is no better way than to sketch from being there though , this was sketched from a photo reference. Have a nice week and happy sketching!
