I needed to deepen the Phthalo blue for saucer...these Faber Castell pencils are lovely to draw with and add water with brush.
Lovely cat sketch Denise and bird  you drew for February  Gillian , your wedding bouquet Alan and Tawny Owl Paul, looking forward to viewing your sketches Robert too! I did start sketching an onion yesterday so will see how it posts here.

This onion escaped from being added to the cauliflower soup!
Some nice work posted I have spent some time looking at old farm building as I want to use some in future painting , used B4abs B7 pencils two separate pieces on the same page of a A3 pad I use for rough work etc.  The fourth is taken from a Victorian sepia photo again might end up ad a painting.
Only had time for a quick sketch and onions must be popular as I've just noticed yours Angela, very nice. Lovely sketches Paul.
Those onions look familiar! 😂Great work folk!
Some more figure sketch’s from me I’ve read taken a liking to the B4 and B7 pencils the B7 I’d definitely my favourite ones these were sketch’s using the 7 .
Decided to use some graphite sticks I was bought quite a while ago but never gave them a chance , determined that the pencil could not be bettered , oh how wrong . Used B9 for this the sticks feel nice to hold and are so smooth on the paper think they will become a favourite before long .
I've looked at all the sketches here, and wow, I really, really like of them! I like this "sketch a day and/or have a blether" idea and will probably babble more than draw,... because completely different things are taking up my time at the moment and I somehow don't have the muse or peace to draw and paint....broken printer, looking for a new one on the internet, bad purchase, returning, lots of hotline phone calls that are wearing....TV broken, organize a new one, do internet research, do you know that? I look forward to the day when I don't need any of this anymore!! I don't think I need a printer anymore either... so sorry for my babble; Here's a very simple mini-sketch from my head; Coffee early on the first morning...
Oh WOW so many lovely sketches ,I haven't looked recently .Tanjas simple watercolour and her babble ,blather...Tanja I'm also sorting out r Techie stuff....don't I hate it. Paul's crowded vistas and cottages a plethora of onions..I've just made a pile of soup with my onions.
Just added my soup ingredients.
