Nice drawings of sheep and flowers too! Years ago I did draw some Herdwick sheep from photos taken when we visited The Lake District.  Sheep are fascinating to watch and pose so well. Lovely sketches for January!

Did this at Art Group this afternoon. Misty mountains in tinted charcoal pencils.
This began as a blind contour drawing, hence the messy bit at the top. ...
Lovely coloured charcoal drawing of the mountains and must Gillian , it is well captured as charcoal can express texture so well. Nice drawing of this plant in pot Diane and interesting to draw blind contours as leaves seen to be so definite with linear and even when they droop, they exhibit lovely creases and folds! I am messing about with watercolour again so may start some still-life drawings today, with vegetable peelings as made a lot of cauliflower soup! Found an onion with roots spreading and so kept it for an observation, have been away so it looks like ' Quatermass  and the pit' ( an old science fiction film where these tendrils enveloped the earth!) and lots of roots  in my veggie tray as the humidity starts lots of growth and there are some interesting specimens ,,,managed to salvage an Avocado pip as the skin had shriveled into a most unusual shape, lol! Anyway, salvaged these unusual shapes so shall go and draw this afternoon! Now into February so wish you all a great time drawing! 😊

Painted an onion with Faber Castell watercolour pencils today, still drying out and need to work further on the blue saucer!
