Great sketches and lovely bouquet Alan. I bought some Koh-I-Noor soft pastel pencils last week. The sketch I did the other day, I thought I would try them out on that. Not sure what I think of them yet. I'll finish it off tomorrow night as I'm working on oil paintings during the day.

Well there has been some super work posted , pity I haven’t got round to posting much. Here in Orkney the weather has been atrocious, last week we where snowed in to then be swiftly battered by storm Isha with winds up to 85 mph and we have Jocelyn paying a visit tomorrow with more storm force winds. Doesn’t actually fill you with artistic enthusiasm worrying about your roof or shed! However the seascapes are pretty impressive!

Keep safe and warm Gillian, must be a nightmare on Orkney at the moment! Storms seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment.  That’s a lovely still life Denise.

Mint and Rosemary in Glass vase. I did sketch with Faber Castell then painted with Filbert brush. Just experimenting with watercolour pencils.

Nice trees Paul and like the way the branches drift out too! Trees are fascinating subjects and bring delight! Lots of interesting shades and tones too! Some delightful work on this forum! 😊
