Pardon my ignorance but what is SM?
Dohhh! Just realised SM is a reference to Social Media in general!
You are right Peter, sorry , I'd been writing this in a hurry before art class!
lots O  lurkers that's normally the case  You can't pin this one on  BREXIT i very often visit sites and just stand and stare, i like to see and give  positive responses to peoples queries
I know another meaning of SM!  And I'm sure there's a social media page devoted to it, if only one were to look.  The works of the Marquis de Sade, and a Herr von Sacher-Masoch provide the clue.   (I've read the first, but not the second.)
That’s what I thought it meant as well Robert....shows how times they are a changing.
Just strikes me it could have Several Meanings, don't you think?   Not all of them fit for print!
I certainly visit much less than I used to before “the changes”. I now get that “updated website “ message every time and have to log on again. I’ve deleted the old bookmark and created a new one but it still takes—it seems—ten times more clicks to get to anything I might want. So I don’t bother. I rarely look at the gallery any more either; except when I post something myself, which is not very friendly I know but again the old bookmark took me straight to the gallery page. Now, I have to log on and ‘navigate’. So again I usually don’t bother.
I would also prefer not to have notification when someone has answered my forum item.  It’s still good for posting pics on the gallery but a pain in the bum otherwise. I find John that if I access the site via Google it takes me straight to my account, if I try from email notifications it doesn’t and I have to log in.  Try your search engine,.
You may be wondering why you haven´t seen any comments from me on the POL website but I am somewhat disappointed with the new version. I´ve tried to get used to it. I can see you are not much happier than I am. --  Best regards Pat Pat Harrison
Now I've got over the initial problems of logging in, I find the site very similar to the old one so not so bad.  the logging in was a big issue for quite some time.  Now I don't have to log in - it's automatic when I access the site.
I have to hold my hands up, I have been popping on reading and running as havent had much to contribute. I also dont like the fact that we no longer have the latest bit in here. That's where I always went as that's where everything that was active was together. Now Its all over the place. You have to click into them all to find what threads are new. Can pol please put that back to the way it was. It was soooooo much better.  I'm a huge social media user too, I love it, facebook, instagram, even Twitter. Then theres pinterest ohhhh I can lose hours pinning on there. I follow pol on each of those. I'm even a top fan on facebook 😂😂🙈. I'm a member of loads of watercolour groups online and I do lose track of time with all the art on them sometimes. It's the bane of my life my phone. My names jen and I'm a smartphone social media junkie!!!!! There I have said it.
