Certainly no thunderstorms and floods this side of Murcia! Sitting on my terrace looking at the mountains 😎. Now strange as it might seem I painted this little chap last night…. funnily enough they don’t have puffins here!. He  turned out a little rotund  so needs a diet!

I like sideways on Puffins Gil…he is a sweetie. I am making hand painted cards for our loca, societysexhibition in August, I found this lovely deckle edged water colourpost cards so it’s keeping me busy.  Can do these as they are close to and I use a bright light.

Sylvia they are so vibrant I think you are amazing! I have gone a bit crazy this evening with a very experimental watercolour sunset and a watercolour sketch ( no pencil) of Calahorra, near Guadix Granada

I like the variety of work on display.   Love those cards Sylvia. I'm thinking of doing a jazz picture, and have done a few scribble sketches to try to 'find' the singer, who will be belting out a song.  It will be cartoon style, so the idea top left won't do...it's too close to reality.  Probably finish as a mix between the other two versions.  No doubt I'll do some more...they take moments, and are drawn on a4 typing paper.

Freed from my painting course, I did a bit of plein-air sketching, sitting next to the Ouse and painting Olney Bridge . Roughly 50 mins to produce this in my A4 sketchbook.
