Altho' I haven't started mine yet ( busy busy), must comment on what I've seen so far.Going back...Charming sketch, Margaret of your roe deer, few strokes, great effect. Alan, your village street looks very quaint, typically English. Anjana's watercolour exudes peace and tranquility, just how a nature reservation should be, lovely colors and technique. Tessa's through the window - inspiration everywhere if you look. ( And good to have one in hand in case of emergencies!) And Christopher's Fantastic Mr Fox, very topical at the moment.
Off to sketch now, must keep it quick!

The standard of work keeps getting higher and higher. Margaret a nice little sketch of a Roe deer, Anjana subtle use of colours in your water colour,Christopher Majorie beat me to the tag of fantastic mr Fox, but its a great little sketch. Linda love your finished Elizabeth Taylor, you have captured her so well with so few lines.
Here is mine for today, been done over a couple of days as I have had a lot on, the picture is a painting project set by Colin Joyce of Scottish Highlands. I hope you enjoy.

Some lovely sloe Dixie, you’ve got their colour spot on. Alan a very alert mr Fox, just ready to pounce! Linda, your Cleopatra- wow- the little touch of glitter finishes it beautifully. Alan, a grand highland scene, love the sweeping curve of the hills.
I made it to drawing class today and so, more daffs! We were observing the glass jar and water and how the daffs hit the ellipse etc.. great fun and nice to be back concentrating on traditional drawing.

Another super set of sketches. Anjana, I do love your nature reserve painting - beautiful dreamy quality with lovely colours; Christopher - great expression and pose on the fox; Dixie - really like the composition - almost a bit chinese in style - and lovely colours; Gudrun, hope you manage to join in some time :)
Linda, super Cleopatra sketch - the gold really helps it stand out; Alan - love the colours in your painting, and the line work really makes the detail stand out; Tessa - beautifully drawn daffs and jar.
Apologies if I've missed anybody - a bit short of time today. Went for a walk and took my sketch pad - a very quick (and slightly squint) sketch of the Observatory in Edinburgh. Watercolour pencils and fountain pen on site with green watercolour and a bit more pen added at home (don't yet have have any greens or blues of these pencils).

Superb sketch and painting everyone. I’m adding a second for today as I will not be able to contribute tomorrow.
A very quick watercolour of as ship, in what was the Aral Sea. Aral Sea roughly translated means sea of a thousand islands and is located between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In the 1960s the former USSR stared to drain water for industrial use, and by 2000 the sea had all but dried up, leaving ships, docks and sea side fishing villages in a desert. I am at some point going to do a painting with camels shading alongside the wrecked boats. What looks like wave is in fact sand sculpted by the winds.
Sorry for the long winded post.

Linda's beautiful Cleo inspired me to do Antony ( ish). Alan, I like your watercolour landscape, well chosen colours. Tessa, daffs, water and glass, plenty to study there, fascinating how the water distorts the shapes. Margaret, that's " real" sketching, I'm in my cosy zone ( inside!) and Paul, super ship, how interesting that sand, it does look like waves.
