An interesting and characterful selection of portraits, from all blue to Buddha and in between! Also like the steam roller and Margaret’s two versions of the ruin. I think we are all more confident to try different things since we started this!
When I was walking through St. James’s Park last week I took some photos of the pelicans which seem quite tame and are quite happily on the people side of their barrier!

Majorie, love the sketch with your kitty cat. Jim your profile pic of Alan is great. Paul, there is a good lot of detail on your steamroller. Super and all other sketches are great. Linda, I really get a sense of the bronze and metal in your portrait.
You are all so good at drawing and painting something every day. I wish I could just pop out something every day. A habit one artist way back, he said to paint something every day even if it is nothing great to look at. I guess I should have taken that advice because now I am stuck with a long bout of painters block. But I have done a few things this week. It started out as a watercolour, then I decided to use pastel but the paper was not good enough for the pastel, so I used whatever else I could find. It has a bit of everything.

The last day of February - well done to everybody who has lasted the month and great to see new folk joining in/dipping in and out. Hope to see at least some of you in March :)
Didn't know there were pelicans in London! Lovely sketch, Tessa - you have captured them beautifully. Good to see you posting here, Sandi - a lively and eye-catching Highland bull; what a great idea, Tessa! and brilliantly drawn :)
Started this late last night and finished it off this morning - bit more detailed than my usual - also very small (A6) from one of my own photos.

Well the last day and everyone has done so well and i'm sure its stretched our imagination and helped with our overall sketching. A fantastic Highland Coo Sandi and I love the name you have given it, the leap year idea and the pelicans from Tessa, fantastic! Great movement in the swan Margaret and Alan your drummer has real get up and go. Got to think of something different now, and then I will be concentrating on Dawns March challenge over the next couple of days, but will still pop in here as much as I can, once again well done everyone.
