I really like that Margaret. Your sketches are loose anyway but this has something else. Will try tomorrow.
An interesting and characterful selection of portraits, from all blue to Buddha and in between! Also like the steam roller and Margaret’s two versions of the ruin. I think we are all more confident to try different things since we started this! When I was walking through St. James’s Park last week I took some photos of the pelicans which seem quite tame and are quite happily on the people side of their barrier!
Nicely placed, Tessa. And two very different poses by the pelicans. Last sketch for Feb today....thinking cap needed.
Majorie, love the sketch with your kitty cat.  Jim your profile pic of Alan is great. Paul, there is a good lot of detail on your steamroller. Super and all other sketches are great.  Linda, I really get a sense of the bronze and metal in your portrait. You are all so good at drawing and painting something every day.  I wish I could just pop out something every day.  A habit one artist way back, he said to paint something every day even if it is nothing great to look at.  I guess I should have taken that advice because now I am stuck with a long bout of painters block.  But I have done a few things this week.  It started out as a watercolour, then I decided to use pastel but the paper was not good enough for the pastel, so I used whatever else I could find.  It has a bit of everything. I call it,I flik my Kif to all the Gals

Sandi its a fun bright eye catcher of a painting, highland cows are always such fun.
Lovely sketch of your grandson Marjorie, great gondolas Jim, Christopher you are so good at Manga sketches, a good likeness of Keith Richards and Paul you are brave to try painting outside today, well done. Today's effort is a small Buddha sketch in Inktense pencil with washes, colours Sun Yellow, Baked Earth and Sea Blue, finished with black and white uni pen.

Linda , love the use of inktense colours in your Buddha. so delicate but still bright.
Super highland cow Sandi, great movement there! As it’s Leap Year Day (is there such a thing!?) I took inspiration form these long jump images, and woohoo, we’ve managed another month! Well done all, and we seem to be picking up extras along the way, which is great.

The last day of February - well done to everybody who has lasted the month and great to see new folk joining in/dipping in and out.   Hope to see at least some of you in March :) Didn't know there were pelicans in London!   Lovely sketch, Tessa - you have captured them beautifully.   Good to see you posting here, Sandi - a lively and eye-catching Highland bull; what a great idea, Tessa!  and brilliantly drawn :)     Started this late last night and finished it off this morning - bit more detailed than my usual - also very small (A6) from one of my own photos.

Beautiful swan Margaret. Just been to walk the dog, went out in bright sunshine then drenched in a hailstorm! Looking forward to Spring and hopefully better sketching weather.
As already been said, congratulations everyone for lasting another month, and welcome to the new starters, hope to see more of your work next month.Nice Idea for leap year Tessa, and a beautiful swan Margaret .  This is the last one for now of musicians  A drummer to go with my lead singer and guitarist.
Well the last day and everyone has done so well and i'm sure its stretched our imagination and helped with our overall sketching. A fantastic Highland Coo Sandi and I love the name you have given it, the leap year idea and the pelicans from Tessa, fantastic! Great movement in the swan Margaret and Alan your drummer has real get up and go. Got to think of something different now, and then I will be concentrating on Dawns March challenge over the next couple of days, but will still pop in here as much as I can, once again well done everyone.
Well  here we are end of the second month, well done to those who have contributed to this months and to those who have commented. A quick watercolour from me today, need to start thinking about the next lot to do. Imaginary scene  on a misty morning, done wet in about 10min max.
