Nice little watercolour Paul, following the watercolour theme a bit of an experiment with watercolour pencil and using a water brush and letting it run into the colours without painting too much in. Finished with uni pen in black and white.
Beautiful sketch Paul
Lovely atmospheric watercolour, Dixie, and beautiful irises, Linda :)
Two lovely sketches, love a misty painting Dixie, and Linda I really like your use of the white pen on your work. Might have to get one!
Nice  water sketch Dixie
Lots of great stuff today, great new band member Alan.  His face is so into beating the drum.  Love that swan, Margaret.  Looks like it is about to chase the first person that walks by it. One time I watched on youtube how swans and ducks chase people.  I was in stitches.  It was so funny.  I used to have ducks in my yard and couldn't understand why my friends were too scared to enter until I saw those videos.
Thanks for the welcome Lewis. Your profile picture is great and your portrait.  Alan your face is great as well.  I am not very good at portraits.  I always get either the nose facing East or West and the eyes squinting, laughs, so I gave it up. I did one of my daughter's baby when he was just born.  I think it was easier because there was only one eye to do.

Hello Sandi, lovely painting of your grandson. I looked for your cow but couldn't find it! Misty, atmospheric w.c. Paul, lovely watery irises Linda. My final Feb sketch is himself, with a bit of water sol. wax crayon. Pity I couldn't edit the mistake!!

Sandi, that’s a beautiful painting of your new grandson. He looks very sweet. Babies can be so difficult but I think you’ve done really well. Marjorie, also a lovely sketch of himself! He looks as if he’s used to being sketched and sitting patiently for you. Any more to come for February?
Thank you, Tessa.  He is a little darling. But my painting of portraits ended there.  I returned to the natural world of painting.  Mistakes can always end up as part of the plan.
Margorie, that is a really nice sketch.  I think the cow is on page 41, Mooing at all the girls now.  His neck has ended up with whiplash.
An adorable sketch of your new grandson, Sandi.   Another lovely sketch of your husband, Marjorie - I like your portrait style a lot - tender and delicate - and so good. Have loved seeing all the beautiful sketches, and all the chat, now on to March!
