Linda, I remember doing Richard Burton to complement your Liz.  Perhaps we should all try a selfie based on a younger self and see if we can recognise each other....but we’d know who was who by the post....wonder if they could be randomly loaded on to a page....who is a tech wizard on here who would know?

I emailed Dawn about doing an anonymous portrait of a younger self and uploading it for members to guess who. She very kindly sent this reply.  “The best way might be to ask everyone to email their images to me and I can load them to my account in a separate gallery. That way I don't have to add the name of the artist - maybe they could include a few words to accompany the image that might give a clue or something? It would then be over to all of you to make your guesses in the comments?  I am only able to add four per day like everyone else and I will be having the Paul Talbot-Greaves challenge images to upload, so it may take a little while to get all of them in the gallery. I think it could work though. What do you think? It would just be my email address with self portrait challenge in the subject line.” What do you all think?

I like this one because it worked out better than expected. I also like one I did of hubby in lockdown, playing his guitar, but I can’t find it. And then there is the one of his children.  But there are at least a couple of hundred others, 90 in my gallery.

A youthful selfie sounds like a fantastic challenge. Trying to work out who they belong to is a tougher challenge. Some of us would have to drop a few clues, since we don’t know what you look like nowadays.  There are some really great portraits in this thread, worthy of its own gallery.
