Paul I really like your industrial scene. Thanks Gillian, I'm hoping to get a small garden studio put up sometime after the New Year, I'm itching to get some oils started. The sketch of your girls is delightful. I've done a few vultures Carol, I like them, they are interesting characters. Robert, here is the finished sketch. It is up in the gallery. 
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

Yon's a bird who could give you quite a start if you turned around and saw it gazing speculatively at you, a cookbook cunningly concealed beneath a wing ...seen in flight, they're spectacularly impressive; seen grouped around a dead impala, perhaps their less majestic side tends to show itself.  You've caught the critter very well.

Yes, this was flying at a display so I managed to get photos as it was perching. I've got a few different angles and plan to sketch him more. I've seen him a few times, I'm very fond of him.

Awe...perhaps he's fond of you as well Denise.  My sighting of them has only been in Africa closing in on the remains of a dead impala .   We have a rescue centre  for injured raptors locally I have sketched t there ,thanks I will make an effort to go again. Super drawing.

The Vulture looks really good Denise . A couple of basic sketches ready to paint . The light ship has been converted to a rental holiday let near Gloucester docks . Happy New Year to everyone and keep up the excellent artwork.

Denise I just complimented this Vulture at your gallery this morning ;) Very nice art! Paul your sketches are off to a good start, but I just have feeling they're already finished, as I bet I saw the sheep earlier today...? If I'm wrong - I put it down to my age failure ;) I'm not practicing any daily sketching yet!? The sketch book lays down next to me, so the pencils... Lack of motivation? - must be. I must change it with a baby named 2023  ;) HAPPY NEW YEAR  ;)

You welcome Denise, you deserve complimenting ;) It might be not sketch as planned on the sketching book, but it is sketching, so let me call it a good start routine for New Year please  ;) It's drawn on the claybord, it's beginning of my new experiment piece ;)
