Lovely sketches Gill. I agree those pears look better than the ones I bought today, definitely look good enough to eat . A quick watercolour sketch I did a week or so back it was done using up the waste paint .

Yes, straight out of the fridge, then back in.
A basic sketch for a future watercolour on loose canvas.
Nice one Paul . Another head from me in tinted charcoal
That's going to make a wonderful painting, Paul. Really good sketching Gillian.
10 minutes life sketch not perfect but not too bad for first!!!
Gillian do you do these from pictures or are you lucky enough to do them from life ? I f you can do from life it is more interesting  may be your art group could sit for each other ...clothed...lol.  You are doing well but look at he size of hands and feet...He might fall over... Did these of my daughter a few years ago I use a very black pencil , about 8 B it flows  better. Maybe your group could persuade ssome one  to sit for pocket money . .   Short quick poses, .brilliant for getting your eye in and absorbing shapes.

Having to use photos as no life classes locally! Funnily enough we did talk about life modelling at our last group! Yes I knew his feet looked small he’s a bit stockier than the actual mode too. Your sketches are great Sylvia!
Oops double tap and two posts! Blooming.Parkinson’s!
