Great lizards Sylvia. I've done this sketch, I might do some sort of a painting of it at some point.
You are going all Degas .?

I only got the chance to do Morris Dancing and then I was always out of step. Ballet dancing was a bit grand for the area I grew up in. I did the charcoal ballerina and since then, I have had a look at some photographs and they always look so elegant and committed to their craft. The sketch is a made up scene but I think I would like to put some time in and do a painting. Degas did superb paintings, I had a look at some today on the net. I can't decide if I'm doing another cubism painting next or to start a ballerina painting. I'll be starting one or the other tomorrow.
Nice sketch Denise. I can’t imagine you not able to keep in time , you seem to be good at everything you try. I was messing about with a so called black brush pen and used a small brush with clean water , I was surprised it turned purple but to like the outcome.
I do like people who have a go at different things - both Denise, and Dixie, (and Sylvia Evans), regularly venture beyond their assumed abilities to show that actually, they're capable of so much more: it just takes courage.
Or daftness Robert.
Or delusions of grandeur ( in my case). Best way to learn as you know Robert is to try and try again , in my case I never stop trying as I never get where I want to be , but then I don’t know where that is even, must be an age thing. Trying out some skin tone pens I bought , my first attempt not to sure about then as yet.

Daftness can be courageous too - the truly daft will always take a punt, however unlikely it seems that they'll succeed.  It's the sage, cautious types (hallo!) you want to watch out for.
I must have tons of daftness then and when you see my painting I've just started you will know for sure I'm daft. I'm trying to do a cubism clown, I don't even know were it has come from, it looks so bizarre. Don't laugh, you can if you want to. I don't know how it will end up. I'm doing a ballerina painting after this.
Your watercolour looks great Paul.
Thanks Denise , can’t wait to see your  clown . The drawing look very complex and must have taken ages to plan out .
Filled with admiration for all the recent postings Sylvia, Denise and Paul! 😊
