Ten min brush sketch.  Not a Rembrandt but sometimes I just need to make shapes.  It’s still wet.
That should have been " not a Van Gogh" 😄
Nice one Sylvia ours haven't flowered yet but are well over 6ft...quick sketch at a 50 year wedding anniversary garden party..
Thanks Bari  What pen are you using here ?

Happy wedding anniversary Bari, nice sketch.  Lovely sunflowers Sylvia.
My rotring EF Art pen ...cheapest cartridges you can buy..big bag from Smiths  no mess when carrying  them ..you can also get some nice effects with a water brush...
Not our anniversary Denise we are well past our 50th...
one from my many sketch books using the wet brush .
We planted a hedge over twenty years ago, full of interesting plants .  This is a Rosa Rugosa with wonderful flowers in the summer.  But I like the huge Rose hips now. Did this today in my concertina book…got bored with the leaves.
Nice sketch Bari. Sylvia the Rose hips are beautiful and I really like the unfinished leaves, it adds to the overall look of it.
Twas a joy to do Denise on a hot day with a glass of crisp white to hand.
Lots of lovely sketches in a great variety of media! Sylvia I was just commenting to my daughter yesterday how large some of the hips on the Rosa regosa were this year! I have just tried a quick charcoal sketch of a lighthouse .
