Thanks Ron yes very crowded on the main areas but very quiet on all the little back streets. What you didn't see in my sketch was the coach load of Chinese tourists filming me on their phones from behind.
Nice woodlands scene Denise, not sure I’d want to visit Venice or and tourist attractions at the moment Bari but a nice sketch. Nice to see you posting from down under Ron sound a great beach . A pence sketch of a barn owl in the posture they use when  disturbed or feel threatened.
I have decided it’s time I develop my sketching of figures along with portraits something i tend to avoid . I like figure in landscape as it adds that bit of life . Sketched in pencil on A5 paper .
Nice figures Paul ....I'm of the  same mind i need to practice more I'm never really happy with mine.. these were on a ferry in Canada
Nice figures Paul and Bari. I've been painting today but I couldn't resist trying out my new charcoal pencils. I've just had a bit of a mess around and sketched this but my shoulder is killing so it's not the best but I'm happy with the pencils.
That is absolutely brilliant Denise well done .
Brilliant Denise really caught the light..I've just been digging through sketch books for some inspiration
Another figure sketch from my practice pad .
More practice sketching figures
Great figures Paul.  May I offer a small  Comment....  I know you won’t mind and I will anyway.   Look at the size of your feet and hands.  They are a wee bit too small.  If you think about standing on those small feet you might topple over.    Feet and hands are much bigger in reality than we think...
Thanks Sylvia I had not notice , always good to have these things painted out . I do tend to worry a bit over the hands and feet when I’m sketching or painting as I’m inclined to make them too big .
Lol.... try in the middle .
