I just finished Penny.
Just a joy Denise. I do adore Iris this one I have just picked from my garden. I have just been diagnosed with Dry Macular Degeneration in my left eye, sadly my right eye has been impaired for over ten years and I'm up to forty five injections in that one. So...... I haven't done much of meaning recently but can't resist my Iris.  Big bright light ,Inktense pencils which give me control.... if I can stay at Status  Quo  I will have some content.   My driving days are probably over as well.    But I will plod on...sorry about moan.

A beautiful painting Sylvia , just you moan on I’d be more than upset , the thought of injections in my eye is my worst nightmare.
You always do beautiful Iris, Sylvia.
Beautiful Sylvia keep on doing what you do ! You are entitled to have a moan but you will bounce back x Denise you painting is great! Helen I would never come up with ice cubes as a subject! I really like it.
beautiful iris Sylvia, It makes my eyes water at the thought of those injections. to keep the flower theme going here are my take on Blue bells.
Very nice Alan , I just love bluebells. I was saving this for the gallery when it’s finish but as we seem  to be in the floral mood I will put a unfinished preview here it will be a few days  before it finishes, from my photos.
Sylvia, Alan, and Dixie - lovely work from all of you. Sylvia - I'm sorry about the eye problems: mine are far more mild than yours, but I do know how very frustrating it is when you try to focus, and have to wait for the eye to play, er, ball..... I only have to wait for floaters to clear, and that's bad enough.  Injections in the eye sound awful, but I've had a half-dozen or so, for different reasons - you know that trouble is in store when the nurse holds your hand: though as a matter of fact, it was nowhere near as bad as I feared, and I hope the same is true for you.  What I really hate though are doctors who don't tell you anything about what they're going to be doing - I certainly don't want to hear EVERYTHING, but a few intelligent hints would be helpful....  You achieve miracles with your problems: yet another penalty of getting older - but some are lucky, and some ain't.  I hope your macular degeneration can be stabilized, and you'll be able to carry on painting for a long time yet.  As for the car - taxis!  Dog-friendly taxis - of course they're expensive, but you'll be saving a lot of money on petrol and maintenance.  Good luck with it all.
Awe thank you Robert....not fun but I will get there... .  Some fab flowery pics on here those bluebells are special Alan and your blue thingy....same family as sea holly and it begins with E  is looking good Paul. A flowery  'time of the year... Sam and I quite fancy a chauffeur.

That could be Eringium (I think that's the way it's spelt) Sylvia. Very sorry to hear about your eye problem.
Just looked it up George and it's  Eryngium thought there was a Y there so where... Do not tread on it  very prickly.

That's the one Sylvia. We grew it for some years, it had beautiful blue stems as well as very attractive flowers, but it died out eventually.
