Here’s a virtual gift Robert! It’s the thought that counts!
That's very nice Gillian but I here there is a Villa going with a ceiling painted by Caravaggio.
There you go Robert virtual gifts at every corner…. Let me get my thinking cap on, I know you are a gin man like me. (woman ).  I seemed to be given quite a lot of odd gins for Christmas even one in a bottle that lights up…. So maybe a crate or two of posh gins.

Two - or was it three - pages of witch-doctor drivel from a South African gentleman removed this morning - how I wish we could remove posts en bloc.... Papa Bongani is what he calls himself.  Should you be in his part of the world, and be introduced to Mr Bongani, do give him a cheery greeting from me; and - should there be a lake or bog to hand, preferably inhabited by a number of particularly peckish crocodiles, do feel free to push him into it.
Yes he has been a busy witch doctor , I have removed a load before going out a ten o’clock this morning.  All the usual rubbish , love potions, death potions etc, wonder if the do a anti scammer potions .  In January they will probably do a buy one get one free sale.
Papa came back at 11am.  He shouldn't have been able to do that, but maybe used a different email account - I might even buy an anti-scammer/spammer spell from him: or better still, an effective curse on spammers.
Missed the buggers again! Sorry guys! I better check more often.
We can’t be there all the time Gillian, you do your share so don’t worry if you miss some but it is nice to dispatch them.
The fact that a lot of us never even see them is a credit to you all who zap them continually!
I'm sure we'll all be thanking you for that, Helen!  We act as fast as we can because nothing is more likely to kill the forum completely than these spammers making it unusable.  I've looked - I'm sure we've all looked - into ways of stopping this stuff at source, but it's not easy, without making the forum more difficult for its legitimate users to access.  I'm pleased you haven't seen the latest deluge  - I check the site several times a day, but I know I've missed a fair few wayward posts, thanks to the vigilance of Paul, Alan, Gillian, Dawn (and anyone else I've left out).
I’m zapping the pests almost daily, often early morning! It amazes me how they manage to come back with the same nonsense, they must register again under a slightly different name…
