Glad to see you back Lewis and hope you are feeling much better. Your carnivorous snail looks very fierce. Your painting is looking good Alan. I did a quick sketch of my granddaughter this morning as I was trying out my new Strathmore toned tan paper. I've got the gray, which I like.
That’s a lovely portrait Denise . Lew it’s so nice to see your work on the site again after a break, you are producing some very good work but I know you don’t see it yourself.
Nicely done Denise..a pretty girl.
Great to see your painting of Boston Alan; that is a very familiar view to me as we lived just outside the town for many years before moving to my husband's homeland of Wales! Very well painted!
Sorry, somehow two postings of the same message appeared so the only way I could think to delete one, was to write this message!! 🤦‍♀️

Good to see you back Lewis, and Alan, your Boston scene is looking good.
Thats another fine portrait Denise.
... Dreadful photo as I’ve taken it in the studio, colours are nicer than what you see here!

I think the colour tones are spot on, Alan, at least for the mood I've got from looking out of the window for the last few weeks. There's a stillness, reflecting the hour of the day.
Well done, everyone.  I wish I could discipline myself to get in the habit. I've no excuse. (currently finishing off three small oils and considering a larger piece, I've had ideas about)

You are all so motivated and creating some great drawings! Like Lee I haven’t been posting much. I have been going through an unproductive priod. My concentration isn’t wet god at the moment which will be a Parkinson’s issue and I have been very helping to set up a support group here in Orkney so very tired. Hoping to get my act together shortly . It’s great to see you back Lew that snail is pretty scary to me!
Hope you are feeling better soon Gillian…
