A coupleof my sketch book sketches from some years ago.
Lovely sketches George. Pen and ink is well suited to these topics.
A couple of my 10 minute sketches from my life drawing class last night. My 40 minute sketch I've put in the gallery.
Nice sketches George and Denise . The first of my posts was done using water soluble pencil a brush and clean water , second is graphite, last two ink  all done very quickly.. Apology for poor quality photos .  The tree is from a photo sent to me by Sylvia it on one of her walks .

I haven’t been very active on the forum recently as I have been really busy with life! Not even time to pick up pencils or brushes ! Yesterday evening I decided to do some gift cards for presents.  Here are the first two!
This is so sweet Gillian, i love those christmas cards!
They are gift tags for family’s presents! There’s more now Hopefully I will make more over the next few days
Th3 black card is ideal for your white pens etc Gillian .
Last nights efforts , the last one I did some time ago not sure if I’ve posted it before.

Very good sketching Paul
Wonderful sketching Paul. I'd be scared of those trees in the last sketch, they look quite violent, especially the one on the right.
I like your beech trees - very sculptural tree, the beech: there's a massive one in a neighbour's garden - too near their house, really, but no one has the heart to cut it back, and anyway it's a bit late for that; so I hope it'll be left to live out its long natural life.
