Time for a brief excursion to look at some of his work!  The first is from a collection he calls 'Window Self Portraits'.  I think I was struck by the unusual take on an urban scene.  Do I like them?  Certainly fascinated, and I think overall I would have to say 'yes', I do like them,  The second.....well time to get back to discussing royal portraits!

I’ve changed my mind about this artist having looked at more of his portraits on his FB - these are a few of them which I think are excellent. And this is another of his ‘window self portraits’ - has a digital look about it, but is described as oils - totally different to the landscapes already posted.

You came across some nice portraits there Jenny ,very different to the ones I posted. The landscapes are unusual, I find them difficult to look at as my eyes feel out of focus looking at them , but very clever as it’s oils . I though they were digital work when I noticed them ages days ago , so avoided them.

Not keen on the reflections self-portraits, they are a bit gimmicky.  But I like the other portraits, is that Liam Neeson? Very expressive.

I like his portraits and his drawings most of all. I have to agree with Sylvia, the portrait of the late Queen is quite unpleasant even though a good likeness.
